Bomb Threats at Delta Banks used to cover-up wife's cash withdrawals from husband's account

Greenville, MS

A woman has been jailed for allegedly using bomb threats to cover up some cash withdrawals.

Jennifer Adams, 31, is charged with three counts of filing false reports.

Greenville police said Adams on Monday called in two bomb threats to the Planters Bank branch at 1650 Mississippi 1 S., and one bomb threat to the Planters at 1477 S. Main St.

According to the report, Adams had access to her husband's account and had removed funds. Police say her husband was expected to check the account. So Adams allegedly called in the bomb threats in an attempt to close the bank.

Adams could face up to 30 years in prison if convicted of all three counts.
