The FBI, in conjunction with state and local law enforcement agencies, is seeking to identify two "armed and dangerous" people who are believed to have been involved in multiple jewelry store robberies in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida.
Most recently, on January 4, around 10:30 a.m., the female suspect entered the Jared Vault in Mebane, North Carolina and showed a handgun. She forced two employees to a back room at gunpoint and zip-tied their hands, investigators said. She then returned to the merchandise area, removed various items from the display cases, and placed them in a shopping bag before leaving the store.

The unknown individuals are suspected of being involved in similarly executed armed robberies at a Jared jewelry store in Woodstock, Georgia, on April 29, 2015, and a Zales Jewelry store in Dawsonville, Georgia, on August 5, 2015.
In both robberies, a female suspect entered the store and displayed a handgun. She then ordered the store employees to the store's restroom and zip-tied their hands. During that time, an unknown man removed the front doorstop and let the front door of the businesses shut. The female suspect locked the front door then proceeded to remove various items of jewelry from the display cases. The female suspect had entered the stores the day prior to the robbery and asked about the same items that were stolen.
On August 11, 2015, at approximately 10:10 a.m., an unknown woman entered a REEDS Jewelers located in Panama City Beach, Florida. The store was reportedly robbed in the same manner as the two prior robberies, and the suspects appeared to have the same build.
On September 2, 2015, the Jared jewelry store in Bluffton, South Carolina, was robbed by woman with a handgun.
On October 16, 2015, a female robbed the Jared Vault in Sevierville, Tennessee. The suspect descriptions match the description of the female involved in the previous jewelry store robberies, according to the FBI.
The female is described as a white female in her late 20s or early 30s. She is approximately 5'8" tall and 130 pounds.
The male is described as a black male in his late 30s or early 40s, approximately 6'0" and 250 pounds.
The suspects have used multiple vehicles of varying styles, the FBI said.
Anyone with information regarding these robberies is asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).
