"The Snake", Kenny Stabler who was a Foley native, Alabama quarterback, Oakland Raiders star passed away in 2015. Others who passed away from "The South' include Ernie Banks ("Mr. Cub") , BB King (Blues Icon), Dean Jones ("Love Bug') and Percy Sledge ("When a Man Loves a Woman")
