Mississippi Tornado upgraded to more powerful EF-4 by NWS

Tornado from Wednesday, December 23
We have determined that the tornado track through north Mississippi is two separate tornadoes with a damage gap noted near Como, MS. A second tornado then developed north of the Tyro, MS community which traveled continuously on the ground to near Selmer, TN.
THE SECOND TORNADO HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN UPGRADED TO EF-4.
EF-4 damage was noted between Ashland and Caanan, MS where a well-built two-story residence was destroyed and the concrete slab exposed.
