A Prichard man accused of impersonating a police officer to rape three women over the course of two months is being held on $456,500 bond.

Jacob Longshaw, 20, remains in Mobile Metro Jail following a Thursday arraignment, court and jail records show. He was arrested on Tuesday.

According to records released on Thursday, Longshaw told police the sexual intercourse with the three women was consensual.

Longshaw is now accused of calling his brother from jail on Dec. 16 and asking him to contact the three victims and ask then to change their testimony, Longshaw's arrest report states.

Mobile police say Longshaw showed a woman a police badge and threatened to take her to jail if she didn't have sex with him on Nov. 11. The woman reported she was raped on Michigan Avenue.

Another victim said a man claiming to be a police officer forced her to have sex with him in the Maysville area. The man told her his nickname, the same nickname told to the first victim.

The third victim reported being raped by Longshaw on Dec. 15 knew the suspect, according to court documents.

Longshaw is charged with three counts of rape and two counts of impersonating a police officer.
