'Charlie Brown,' 'It's a Wonderful Life' and more: TV listing for holiday specia

Christmas is only a little over a week away, which means there's tons of holiday specials, classic movies and more set to air in the days leading up to Dec. 25.
Whether you're in the mood for a childhood favorite, a special filled with celebrity guests or a heartwarming movie, there's bound to be something on the TV this week that will put you in the Christmas spirit.

To help you plan out what to watch while snuggled up on the couch with your loved ones, here's a look at some of the festive TV programming slated for the next eight days. (All times are CST)
Tonight, The CW will air highlights from the iHeartRadio 2015 Jingle Ball at 7 p.m. while ABC will show Disney's "Prep and Landing" at the same time followed by "Prep and Landing: Naughty vs. Nice" at 7:30 p.m.
ABC will present an airing of "Yes, Virginia" at 7:30 p.m., and CBS will present the 16th annual "Home for the Holidays" telecast at 8 p.m. on Friday.
At 7 p.m. on Saturday, ABC will show "I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown." Meanwhile, the Hallmark Channel will premiere its new film "A Christmas Melody" starring Mariah Carey.
For fans of Hallmark original movies, the channel will premiere "Christmas Land" at 7 p.m. on Dec. 20. CBS, on the otherhand, will revist a classic with an airing of an "I Love Lucy" Christmas at 7 p.m. on Dec. 23.
Of course, you'll have plenty to choose from on Christmas Eve. TBS will begin it's 24-hour marathon of "A Christmas Story" at 7 p.m. while NBC will show "It's a Wonderful Life" at the same time. In addition, ABC will feature "It's Your 50th Christmas, Charlie Brown" at 7 p.m. followed by the classic "A Charlie Brown Christmas" at 8 p.m.
On Christmas night at 7 p.m., ABC will air "CMA Country Christmas" with performances from Dierks Bentley, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, the Band Perry and Keith Urban. Also, don't forget "A Christmas Story" will still be airing through the night on TBS.
