DOTHAN, Ala. (AP)
A meth lab explosion at a Dothan apartment complex has left a man severely injured and his wife with drug trafficking charges.
Dothan Police Lt. Mark Nelms tells the Dothan Eagle (http://bit.ly/1Z7nOzv) police arrested 35-year-old Shalene Michelle Bryson after an explosion at her apartment on Wednesday. Bryson is charged with felony trafficking meth and felony manufacturing meth.
Police and firefighters responded to the explosion at the Biltmore Place apartments shortly after 8 p.m. Nelms says Shalene Bryson’s husband, Jesse Bryson, suffered burns on his body from his chest to his feet. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and later airlifted to a specialty burn center outside of Atlanta for treatment.
Jesse Bryson faces similar drug trafficking charges against him upon his release from the hospital.
