Blue Angels release 2016 schedule - includes two annual shows in Pensacola

The Navy flight demonstration squadron the Blue Angels announced updates to the 2015 air show schedule and released the 2016 show schedule at the International Council of Air Shows convention, according to a news release. The Blue Angels are scheduled to fly in 65 demonstrations at 35 locations in 2015 and 69 demonstrations at 36 locations in 2016.

2015 schedule changes include:

•May 23-24: Show added in Rochester, N.Y.

•July 4-5: A show in Eau Claire, Wis., replacing the St. Cloud, Minn., show.

•Sept. 1-2: Date change and show extension in Atlantic City, N.J.

•Nov. 7: The return of the NAS Pensacola homecoming show to a one-day show.
