Federal, state and local law enforcement confirmed there's no specific or credible threat against Sunday's WWE Survivor Series event at Philips Area despite reports, the WWE said in a statement.
"However, WWE and Philips Arena have coordinated with the appropriate agencies and law enforcement, and significantly increased security measures to ensure the safety of all those in attendance, which is our highest priority," WWE said in a statement to AL.com
Doors to the event will open at 6 p.m. EST due to increased security. Fans are encouraged to take public transportation to the event, and no bags will be allowed into the arena.
According to reports, the hacker group Anonymous said on Saturday that it uncovered information that ISIS was planning an attack on the WWE event.
The FBI said it was aware of the alleged threats and was taking them seriously.
"The FBI is aware of reports of an alleged threat that includes an Atlanta, Georgia venue and event," the FBI said in a statement to news media. "While we take all threats seriously, we do not have specific or credible information of an attack at this time. We have, however, made the proper notifications as we continue to work closely with our law enforcement and private sector partners to keep our community safe."
