"Stars Fell on Alabama Last Night"... Bartram Canoe Trail in the Mobile-Tensaw Delta

Oh the magic of the middle of nowhere. My wife and I were kidless this weekend and took advantage of it by taking a 23 mile, overnight kayaking trip along the Bartram Canoe Trail in the Mobile-Tensaw Delta. We had a great time and got to see some great wildlife, the State Champion Cypress Tree and a national historic Indian Mound (what were they doing in the middle of that mosquito infested swamp ...piling dirt?). This picture was taken around 2:00 a.m. on a VERY cold morning! Did you notice the stars reflecting in the water?
