FORT WALTON BEACH — A man flown to the hospital after injuring himself fleeing an apartment he's accused of burglarizing has been arrested.
Nicholas Provost Logan was charged Nov. 7 with burglary and battery for the break-in at Captain's Quarters apartments on Chestnut Avenue.
Logan was one of three suspects who entered an apartment "by force" in the early morning hours of Oct. 20, according to victims' statements.
He also forced his way into the bathroom to get people who were in there, according to his Fort Walton Beach Police Department arrest report.
Logan ordered everyone to stand against the wall, empty their pockets and strip, the report said.
He allegedly struck one of the victims in the face, the report said.
Two of the men may have had guns, witnesses told police. The suspects did not take anything, the report said.
The victims struggled with Logan when he tried to leave, causing numerous injuries.
The police do not have identities on the other two men and continue to investigate.
