78-year-old woman shot multiple times during home invasion

series /series Aka Story Package gallery-preview /gallery-preview Aka Secondary Package A 78-year-old woman was shot twice during a home invasion Tuesday in Elmore County, the sheriff's office reported.
Chief Deputy Ricky Lowery said the woman came home to find someone in her house. She was shot at least twice and is in stable condition, Lowery said.
Elmore County Sheriff Bill Franklin told WSFA the two suspects in the case last seen in a white Hyundai Sonata.
"Franklin said the sheriff's department has recovered a videotape showing the two men inside a convenience store before" the shooting, The Wetumpka Herald reported.
The sheriff's office is offering a $500 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
